The United States Navy is giving a free virtual trip and curriculum, for seven experiments at their Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center on October 16th at 1pm Eastern. The experiments will cover “Ocean Light and Communication & Invisible Light”, and will be especially tailored to middle school classrooms.

Navy scientists will inform students about the uses of infrared light and lasers to collect data about Earth’s atmosphere and oceans; worksheets will be available to provide a hands-on way for students to interact with this opportunity. If you would like more information go to the Navy website, or have any questions contact the North Dakota STEM Ecosystem.
